The 2008 Major League Baseball First-Year Amateur Player Draft concluded Friday with 23 Chatham A's selected. Seven A's were selected on Day 1 of the draft (the first six rounds). Allan Dykstra was the only Chatham alum taken in the first round. Sixteen more players with Chatham connections were called on Day 2 of the draft, including seven players expected on the 2008 team.
