Saturday night's A's and Cardinals game at Veterans Field has been postponed. The game will be made up on the next mutual open date: Monday, July 14 at 7pm. The next Chatham game will be Sunday, July 6, against the Brewster Whitecaps at 7pm with live broadcast coverage beginning at 6:40 with the A's Extra pregame show. The A's and Cardinals will not meet again until the matchup in the 14th .

Charles Brewer will make his third start of the summer on Sunday against the Whitecaps. The UCLA righthander is 0-1 with an ERA of 9.00 through 8.1 innings of work. The rainout forces the A's to begin a stretch of fourteen games in fourteen days Wednesday night against Y-D and not concluding until an off day on the 23rd of July.
