Due to persistent rains on Cape Cod, Tuesday's scheduled makeup game between the Anglers and Brewster Whitecaps has been cancelled. This marks the second straight day of no baseball for Chatham, after Monday's scheduled game against the Whitecaps was cancelled as well. Because of Monday's cancellation, Tuesday's originally scheduled makeup game against the Falmouth Commodores was already pushed back to a date that has yet to be determined.

With the forecast for the rest of the week looking slightly more promising, the Anglers will hope to resume play Wednesday night at 7 PM against the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox at Veterans Field. Chatham has won its last four, and has collected a league-high fourteen points, with seven wins in its first eight games.
