Westlake is Second Angler to be Named Player of the Week

For the second time in four weeks, a Chatham player has been named the Coca Cola Player of the Week. Rick Oropesa (USC) took the honors in the first week of the season and has been followed by Aaron Westlake (Vanderbilt), recognized for his play in the week of July 4-10.
Over the past week, Westlake hit .563 (9 for 16) with two home runs, three RBI and three runs scored to go along with a .625 on base percentage. Westlake began the week with a 3-hit outing at Orleans on July 4th and concluded it by going 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBI against Harwich on July 9th.
Westlake hit .308 with a team-high 14 home runs and 66 runs scored for the 46-20 Commodores this season. He finished second on the team with 61 RBI and a .538 slugging percentage.
Chatham hosts Yarmouth-Dennis tonight at 7PM. The Anglers Extra Pregame Show is on-air at 6:40PM.
