As a result of four postponements over the past week, the Anglers will now be playing twelve games in the next ten days as the Cape Cod Baseball League announced makeup dates Sunday night.
The Anglers, who had two games against the Bourne Braves postponed in the past week, will play a double header against the Braves Tuesday, July 27 at Veterans Field. The first game, a makeup of the July 23 rainout in Bourne, will start at 4:00 PM with Bourne as the home team. The second game of the double header, a makeup of the July 19 rainout (a makeup of the July 10 rainout), will start at 7:00 PM and the Anglers will be the home team. Both of these games will be seven innings.
On Sunday, August 1, the Anglers will play two games in two places. At 1:00 PM, the Anglers visit Falmouth to make up Sunday's postponement with the Commodores in a nine-inning game. The Anglers will then travel to Wareham to play a regularly scheduled game against the Gatemen at 5:00 PM.
Chatham will do it all again two days later on August 3. The Anglers will host Hyannis at 1:00 PM at Veterans Field, a makeup of the July 24 postponement. After the game, the Anglers will travel to Orleans for a regularly scheduled game at 7:00 PM.
The league also announced that beginning July 26, all nine-inning games still tied after 12 innings, will end in a tie.
