Anglers Look to Gain Ground
Even with a rainout on Monday, the Anglers (10-20-1) can still claim three wins in their last four contests. Three consecutive would be a feat the squad has not yet accomplished in 2011.

On Tuesday, Orleans (13-15-1) returns to Chatham for the fourth of six meetings between the two teams.

Chatham notched a 4-3 road win over Orleans on July 14th. In that contest, Buck Farmer (Georgia Tech) threw six strong innings en route to the win. On Tuesday, Dominic Leone (Clemson) is charged with shutting down the Firebirds' bats.

Leone holds a 2.57 ERA and an 0-2 record through five appearances for the Anglers. The outing will be Leone's fourth start of the 2011 campaign. Chatham native John Brebbia is the probable for the Firebirds. The Elon Phoenix was 7-1 in the collegiate season but made no starts. In three starts and seven appearances with Orleans, the New York Yankees' 30th round pick owns a stingy 1.90 ERA and 1-1 record.

First pitch is at 7 p.m. ET from Veterans Field.
