The Chatham Anglers broadcast team for the 2012 season will feature a pair of California products. Menlo Park native Chris Fitzgerald will return to the booth for his second summer in Chatham alongside newcomer Brandon Liebhaber, who hails from Los Angeles. Fitzgerald, a junior at the University of Oregon, and Liebhaber, a sophomore at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, will call all 44 regular season and playoff games for the Anglers this summer on the Cape Cod Baseball Network.
Celebrating ten years of live play-by-play broadcasting, the Chatham Anglers offer streaming audio and toll-free telephone broadcasts for all games, plus video streaming for home games. In conjunction with long-time service provider
TRZ Teamline, fans can enjoy all Chatham games free of charge. The
Broadcast Archives will feature highlights, interviews and entire game broadcasts on-demand. More information about the Cape Cod Baseball Network is available at

Chris Fitzgerald
Chris Fitzgerald plans to graduate with degrees in Business and Political Science in 2013. As a high school student, Chris provided play-by-play for Stanford University's student radio station before aiding in the creation of Stanford All-Access, the University's web stream of athletic events. After enrolling at the University of Oregon, Chris immediately began working as both an analyst and play-by-play broadcaster for KEZI, the local ABC affiliate in Eugene. Chris currently hosts a weekly sports talk show on the radio and provides play-by-play for multiple spring sports. Along with his play-by-play duties for Chatham in 2011, he hosted "Catch of the Day" interviews on Anglers Extra still available on the
Chatham Anglers Official YouTube Channel.
Brandon Liebhaber
Born and raised in Los Angeles,
Brandon Liebhaber grew up with a passion for sports, especially baseball. Currently a sophomore studying broadcast journalism and history at Northwestern, Brandon is involved with a number of media outlets on campus. He anchors, produces and reports for SportsNight, a weekly television show on NUs student station, Northwestern News Network (NNN). He calls games and hosts shows for the sports division of WNUR, the campus radio station. Brandon has additional experience working as a producer, director, and announcer for the Big Ten Digital Network, which streams games online. In his time in Evanston, Brandon has covered football, mens and womens basketball, softball, mens and womens soccer, womens lacrosse, field hockey and baseball.
