The Chatham Anglers are proud to announce their roster for the 2013 Cape Cod Baseball League Season season. The roster features 30 players from colleges and universities throughout the country. You can see the roster in its entirety on the

Two players are set to return to Chatham after playing with the Anglers in 2012: infielder
Dante Flores from Southern California and pitcher
Nick Burdi from Louisville. Burdi had 13 strikeouts in 8.1 innings for Chatham last summer.

The roster features four players from the University of North Carolina, more than any other school. Additionally, there are three players from Boston College and two each from Duke, Maine, and Louisville.
There are 21 sophomores on the 2013 team to go along with eight freshmen and one senior. Eight players hail from the Golden State of California and four are natives of North Carolina.
A couple of players on the rosters already have links to Chatham. Michigan State outfielder
Jimmy Pickens is the younger brother of Doug Pickens, who played for the A's in 2006.
Kenny Koplove's older brother Mike played for Chatham in 1998. Mike Koplove went on to play seven MLB season with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Cleveland Indians.
John Schiffner will return to the dugout for his 21
st season as manager of the Chatham As. Schiffner is the winningest manager in Cape Cod Baseball League history and has been on the coaching staff for four of Chatham's five CCBL championships.
Coaches Nick Derba, Matt Gardner, Alex Kocol, Michael Surina, Jany Grenier and bullpen catcher Kellen Hoime will join Schiffner. Derba, a Manhattan College alumnus, played in Chatham for three summers under Schiffner from 2004 to 2006.
