The Chatham Athletic Association has set the Anglers' broadcasting team for the 2014 season.
Dominic Cotroneo, originally from Flower Mound, Texas, will team with
Jonny Wincott of Plainview, N.Y., for their first summers calling Cape League baseball. Cotroneo is a rising sophomore at Arizona State University while Wincott is a rising junior at Syracuse University. The pair will provide play-by-play for all regular-season and post-season contests on the Cape Cod Baseball Network.
"Dominic and Jonny both exude passion for the game and journalism, and we're excited to have them tell the story of the 2014 season on our broadcasts," said Dan D'Uva, the CAA's Media & Broadcast Advisor. "Chatham fans will appreciate their talent, professionalism and enthusiasm, and we look forward to their continuing our tradition of broadcast excellence. We are fortunate to have budding stars from two of the country's most outstanding communications schools."
Cotroneo and Wincott will spearhead Chatham's 12th year of live play-by-play broadcasting, with the Anglers offering online audio and toll-free telephone broadcasts for all games, plus video streaming for home games. In conjunction with long-time service provider
TRZ Teamline, fans can enjoy all Chatham games free of charge. The Anglers'
SoundCloud will feature broadcast archives, highlights, interviews and entire game broadcasts on demand. More information about the Cape Cod Baseball Network is available at
Broadcast Central.
