Welcome to the Booth

Hello A's fans!

We are excited to welcome you back for another summer in Chatham. The 2016 season begins this evening with the Anglers facing off with the Falmouth Commodores at Veterans Field.

Our media team is comprised of students from around the country—all in their first seasons working in the Cape Cod Baseball League. Jake Eisenberg (Maryland) and Evan Stockton (Syracuse) will team up in the broadcast booth, providing play-by-play of every game this season. David Souza (Boston University) will be the team writer, Caitlin Daley (Monomoy HS) and Claire Brigden (Sacred Heart Prep HS) will be the team photographer and Teddi Govedarica will spearhead public relations.

We are all privledged and excited to bring you the 94th season of Chatham A's baseball. Here is a brief introduction to us in the booth:

Jake Eisenberg just completed his junior year at the University of Maryland, where he performs play-by-play of Maryland Baseball for the Maryland Baseball Network. He has also called basketball, soccer and field hockey for both the student radio station, WMUC Sports, and for BTN Student U productions. Before every game, Jake will speak with John Schiffner for The Manager's Show.

Evan Stockton comes to Chatham after finishing his sophomore year at Syracuse University, where he majors in broadcast and digital journalism. Evan works on the sports staffs of both WAER and WJPZ radio, and serves as a broadcast intern for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League. Before every game, Evan will host Catch of the Day, which features an interview with a current Chatham A's player.

We are excited to bring you every pitch of the 2016 season. As always, you can hear all 44 regular season games through TRZ Teamline. Listen by telephone by calling 1-800-846-4700, code 3841, or listen online at Broadcast Central on chathamanglers.com. All broadcasts are provided for free, including a video stream for all home games. All broadcasts (home and away) begin 20 minutes prior to the game's first pitch with the Anglers Extra Pregame Show featuring The Manager's Show with John Schiffner and The Catch of the Day, featuring player interviews. Following the game is the Chatham Bars Inn Anglers Extra Postgame Show with audio highlights, live interviews, and postgame analysis.

We will also be providing extensive coverage of your 2016 Anglers through our website and social media, specifically including: Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, and Instagram. Remember to like the team on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to track all of the latest from the Anglers. As always, we will be posting photos from every game on Flickr and all video content on YouTube.

We will continue to upload all broadcast audio through SoundCloud. Every interview from the pre and postgame shows will be available, as well as games in their entirety.

Also, please don’t be shy. We love to connect with listeners and fans of the team on our various social media sites. Feel free to follow us on Twitter at @JakeEisenberg_ and @evstockton. If tweeting or posting is not your forte, send us an email at chathambroadcast@gmail.com with any questions or comments you may have. We thank you for welcoming us to Chatham with open arms and look forward to sharing our love of the game with you.

Sincerely,

Jake Eisenberg and Evan Stockton
