Chatham, Mass. — The Anglers (1-1) will face the Brewster Whitecaps (2-0) tonight at Stony Brook Field, Brewster.
Last night, Chatham’s home opener against the Cotuit Kettleers (2-0) was postponed after half an inning due to inclement weather.

Jacob Stevens (Boston College) is expected to take the mound for Chatham. Stevens had a successful sophomore season with the Eagles, throwing 73 strikeouts — including 28 strikeouts looking — over 83.0 innings. Stevens finished 2017 with a career ERA of 3.89.
Left-handed pitcher William Tribucher (Michigan) will start for the Whitecaps after completing his sophomore season with a 2.63 ERA. Tribucher threw 43 strikeouts over 37.2 innings for the Wolverines, and posted a .221 batting average.
The Whitecaps enter the contest undefeated, after besting Orleans (0-2) Wednesday and Hyannis (1-1) Thursday, both by tallies of 6-1.
