Probable Pitchers

Alex McFarlane (Miami) will make his second start of the season, with the first also pinning him against Y-D. McFarlane allowed one run over three innings against the Red Sox on Sunday. The right-hander has surrendered one run and struck out 10 batters over 7.2 innings this season.

Jared Lyons is set to oppose McFarlane. With a 1.84 ERA, Lyons has been one of the most consistent starters on a Red Sox team that's compiled the league's lowest ERA. The right-hander was hit around on July 2, surrendering four runs in 3.1 innings against Wareham, but he's allowed two runs ' one earned ' across his four other appearances.

Chatham Players to Watch

Guy Garibay Jr. (Rice) belted his third home run Thursday, giving him the third-most on the team behind Caden Grice (Clemson) and Jake DeLeo (Georgia Tech). Garibay has reached safely in each of his past three games.

Jack Rubenstein (Georgia Tech) continued his hot stretch at the plate Friday, drilling a home run against the Red Sox. Rubenstein has logged a hit in all three games in which he's recorded at least two at-bats.

Y-D Players to Watch

Jonathon Long tallied his third home run Friday against Chatham. Even with a .195 average, the right-hander leads the Red Sox in home runs and RBIs.

Cole Carrigg remains Y-D's biggest offensive threat. The switch-hitter has batted .302 with a .378 on-base percentage in 28 games. He's recorded a hit in his past three matchups with the Anglers.

Stat to Know ' 19

With 38 points, the Red Sox sit atop the East Division and have a 19-point lead over the Anglers ' doubling their total and representing the largest gap between any two teams in the league. Chatham is the only team yet to reach 20 points. With 26 points, Falmouth and Wareham are closest to the Anglers' 19, but both teams are in the West Division. Chatham is currently eight points behind Harwich for the last playoff spot in the East Division.

Last Time They Played

In a game reminiscent of the early stretches of the season, the Anglers lost 4-1 to Y-D on Friday. Chatham's pitchers gave it a chance to win, especially Ben Peterson (Florida SouthWestern), who blanked the Red Sox over 3.1 innings out of the bullpen, collecting six strikeouts along the way. Ben Hampton (West Virginia) allowed four runs ' three earned ' in his start. He struck out eight.

In the top of the fifth, Long lifted a two-run homer for the first runs of the game. Rubenstein responded in the bottom of the inning, sending a solo home run to left-center field for the Anglers' only run.
