Brian Holiday had a simple message after the Anglers fifth straight win on Thursday. 'The A's are hot,' Holiday said to end a postgame interview. Before the All-Star break, Chatham heads to Cotuit to maintain its first win streak of the year, still winless against the Kettleers.

Probable Pitchers

Cam Brown (TCU) will most likely make his third start on the mound for the Anglers. He's fluctuated in his 5.1 innings on the bump for Chatham, recording a 4.76 ERA so far this season. He exited his last appearance against Yarmouth-Dennis with an apparent shoulder injury after giving up two runs in two innings.

Daniel Brooks will start for the Kettleers, recording a 2.93 ERA in seven games this season. His best performance came in a 7-2 win over Bourne, when he struck out eight batters and gave up one hit in four innings of work.

Chatham Players to Watch

Guy Garibay Jr. (Rice) has been Chatham's 'igniter,' playing the leadoff position for most of Chatham's recent matchups. He continued his offensive onslaught on Thursday, belting a two-run homer to give Chatham its first lead of the game.

Lyle Miller-Green (Oklahoma State) matched his two RBIs from Tuesday against Harwich with two versus Orleans last night. He's notched five hits this season and will represent Chatham in the home run hitting contest at the All-Star game.

Cotuit Players to Watch

Tyler Johnson leads Cotuit's offense with a team-high 19 RBIs and seven home runs so far this season. He has a .282 batting average, and he's recorded three RBIs in two separate games this season.

Tommy Troy has the best batting average (.373) on Cotuit's active roster with a total of 75 at-bats. He notched 62 hits, bringing in 23 runs at Stanford this spring.

Chatham and Cotuit have released a combined 59 players from its rosters this season. Cotuit has released the most players (33) and the Anglers have released the third-most (26) in the league. The Kettleers only have two position players still remaining from their Opening Day lineup.

Last Time They Played

After two quick runs in the opening three innings, Chatham couldn't get back on the board against Cotuit in its 9-2 loss. Cotuit didn't notch a hit until the fourth inning, though Cam Collier was able to come home on a wild pitch in the third. The Kettleers then tied the game with a sacrifice bunt from CJ Kayfus bringing home a sliding Cole.

With Cotuit's third hit, Ryan Ritter notched a two-RBI double to give the Kettleers their first lead of the night. The Anglers left eight batters on base throughout the game while Cotuit scored six runs in two innings.

'You can't blame any one person, Cotuit had a really good day overall,' Matt Hogan (South Carolina) said.
