Chatham's matchup on Monday against Yarmouth-Dennis has been postponed until Wednesday due to rain.

The Red Sox were scheduled to throw Drew Dowd, a left-hander with a 2.07 ERA. Roman Kimball, who hasn't allowed an earned run in 17 innings this season, was scheduled to throw for Chatham. The hard-throwing righty has averaged 1.5 strikeouts per inning.

The Anglers sit three points behind Orleans and Harwich in the East division. Both the Firebirds and Mariners can clinch a playoff spot with a win Monday. Chatham faces the Mariners on Tuesday in what would've been its final regular season game of 2022.
