CHATHAM, MA. -- The Chatham Athletic Association announced additions to its Media Team Tuesday.
Graham Dietz, a rising junior at Boston College in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, and Tyler Schiff, a rising senior in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, will serve as Chatham’s beat writers for the upcoming season.
Jake Klein, an incoming freshman at Syracuse University, takes on the role of producer after multiple seasons as a Media Team assistant.
“We’re excited to have these smart, multi-talented journalists as part of our team," CAA Media Consultant Dan D'Uva said. “They will embrace and excel in the special responsibility of chronicling Chatham’s 100th anniversary season.”
Dietz and Schiff will write stories for Chatham’s website, report news on the club’s social media platforms, edit game-day stat sheets and shape other publications. Their articles will include previews and game stories for each Anglers matchup along with feature stories throughout the season.
"Graham and Tyler are impressive journalists with strong character," D'Uva said. "They exhibit the best traits of a reporter: enthusiasm, initiative, versatility and curiosity. Their ingenuity and leadership will be an asset for our Media Team and a boon for readers."
Klein will oversee the team’s audio and video production, statistical research and graphic design. He contributed as a Media Team assistant the last three years.
“Jake's diligence has ensured quality in every aspect of our Media Team efforts, especially last summer," D'Uva said. "His experience in Chatham, along with a growing and diverse range of skills, makes him an increasingly valued member of the group."
Dietz, Schiff and Klein join broadcasters Joe Puccio and Andrew Selover on Chatham’s 2023 Media Team. The Anglers’ first game is Saturday, June 10, at Cotuit.
