Letter from the Booth
With 100 years in the books, the next century of Chatham Anglers baseball begins. The A’s return to action this summer with a retooled coaching staff and a new roster but the same goal: to compete for the Cape Cod Baseball League championship. We can’t wait to tell the story.

We are your broadcasters, Andrew Selover and Jack Smith. In the coming summer months, we hope you will join us as we bring you coverage of another season of Chatham baseball including 40 regular season games from all across Cape Cod.

We will be live for the first time in 2024 at 5:40 p.m. on Saturday when Chatham travels to Wareham to take on the Gatemen. The Anglers Extra pregame show begins our broadcast 20 minutes before first pitch every contest. It's accessible online and on the telephone for free through TRZ Teamline. Click here to stream the broadcast on your computer or smart device. Our radio experience can be found by calling 1-800-846-4700. When prompted, enter code 3841. All home games will also be streamed live through our Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels along with the newly formed Cape League TV. You can also hear home games live on 89.9 FM in the Chatham area.

Our Anglers Extra pregame show will feature interviews with new manager Jeremy “Sheets” Sheetinger on The Manager's Show and an Anglers player on Catch of the Day. Those chats lead us into game time. We will have play-by-play for every inning and fog delay throughout the season. There may even be another impromptu home run derby. After the game, stick around for the Anglers Extra postgame show, complete with interviews and highlights. Home games at Veterans Field start at 7 p.m. If you see us in the booth, come up and say hello. We would love to meet you.

As you enjoy our live broadcasts, follow the Anglers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Our writers Cooper Andrews and Zak Wolf will update you on social media and post articles on our website, including game stories, previews and feature pieces. Producer Giovanni Culotta will oversee our broadcast audio and visual aspects, ensuring your listening and viewing experiences are the best we can provide.

Our videographers Sydney Ciardi and Will Haydon will dole out consistent content covering the team including highlight compilations and feature films. Their work will be featured on YouTube and our social media outlets. Game days at Veterans Field can be watched wherever you are with innovative viewpoints from multiple cameras.

The pictures you see online and on social media are taken by our photographer Ella Tovey. You can find albums with her work on our Flickr page. Flickr is a photography website that organizes albums for each Chatham game and event. Sift through Flickr and download your favorite photos for your non-commercial use.

When you attend a game at Veterans Field, grab a scorecard, ask for a stat sheet, and say hello to the volunteers who make the Chatham experience worthwhile. If you’re away from the ballpark, feel free to message us at ChathamBroadcast@gmail.com. We are devoted to connecting with you throughout the season.

The Anglers Media Team has worked hard to bring you snippets of the A’s this preseason. Opening Day and the ensuing season give us a valuable chance to showcase how special Chatham Anglers baseball is. With a new century of Chatham baseball upon us, we are excited to share the sights and sounds of America’s best summer baseball experience with you.

Sincerely,

Andrew Selover and Jack Smith, Chatham’s 2024 Broadcasters
