Jacob Morris has joined the Chatham Anglers for the summer of 2019 as an intern to support the GM as well as serving as the MLB
Scouting liaison. Morris is a junior at Georgetown University majoring in American Studies. Born and raised outside Boston inWestwood,
MA, he grew up spending his summers inYarmouth—now Chatham—and is a long-time baseball player and fan of the Cape League.
When not interning for the team, Morris can be found working somewhere on Main Street, kayaking on Oyster Pond, or reliving his
glory days at a nearby little league field. This is his second summer with the Anglers.

Makenzie Cook returns for a second year in the General Manager’s area where she will assist Morris. Cook is a senior at the University
of Mississippi majoring in Integrated Marketing and Communications with an emphasis in sports promotion. She is a triplet and
has spent a lot of time over the years at the baseball fields as she enjoyed watching her brothers play the sport. Makenzie spent a
month in Europe with the Swedish National team supporting her father as he coached the team. She has a passion for baseball and
is thrilled to support the Anglers!

PETER BURNS PUBLIC ADDRESS VOICE OF THE ANGLERS

Peter Burns returns for his fifth season behind the microphone as the official voice of the Chatham Anglers. Peter has loved the game
of baseball his entire life and has attended Chatham Anglers (and A’s) games for as long as he can remember. His earliest memories of
the Chatham A’s are Walt Terrell (’79), Scott Bradley (’79-80), and Mike Stenhouse (’77-79). Peter was not there when Stenhouse hit
a homerun that took once bounce into the fire station, but his father was – Peter claims he was there anyway. A native of Ansonia,
CT, Peter is the author of Shock the World: UConn Basketball in the Calhoun Era. He has two sports claims to fame: he attended the

Legion game. Peter is a professor of political science at Soka University of America in AlisoViejo, CA following 14 years as a professor of
