CHATHAM ANGLERS IN THE DUGOUT 2017

JOSH KIEFFER ASSISTANT COACH
Josh Kieff er, an assistant coach at Clark University in Worcester, MA, where he works with the catchers and as the bullpen coach, comes
back for his second summer with the Anglers. He was previously assistant varsity coach, in 2015-16, at Concord Academy, Concord,
MA, following two years coaching at Concord-Carlisle High School.
In addition, Kieff er is going into his sixth year coaching with the New England Blazers AAU baseball program. He works with all the
catchers in the program during the winter. His 19u team has traveled to the Dominican Republic to compete internationally.
A three-year starting catcher for Westminster College in Wilmington, PA, Kieff er was captain in his senior season. He played prep ball
for Penns Valley High School in Spring Mills, PA.

JOSH INGHAM ASSISTANT COACH
Josh Ingham begins his second season as an assistant coach with the Anglers following two summers as an assistant coach for the
South Troy Dodgers Mickey Mantle (16U) and Ken Griff ey Jr. (15U) AABC travel teams, helping guide them to major post-season success.
Ingham was a four-year, two-way player at Central Connecticut State University. He was a three-year starter, primarily at second base,
and was also the Blue Devils closer out of the bullpen. He holds the CCSU record for career saves and was a two-time All-NEC Second
Team reliever and an All-NEC First Team selection at second base.
A native of Hudson, NY, Ingham lettered in baseball, basketball and golf at Ichabod Crane Central High School. He helped lead the
baseball team to three Section 2 Class A championships and a Class A regional championship in 2007.

GEOFF PHILLIPS BULLPEN COACH
Geoff Phillips returns to the Chatham Anglers for his fourth season of coaching. He is in his sixth season as an Assistant Coach for
nearby Nauset Regional High School. Prior to coaching at Nauset, Geoff had coaching stints at Chatham High School and Martha’s
Vineyard Regional High School. He has also coached the Lower Cape Cod Senior Babe Ruth League team as well as well as the Martha’s
Vineyard Senior Babe Ruth League team. In the off -season Geoff works at The Dugout, a private baseball training facility in Barnstable
(MA) where he off ers both individual and group catching lessons.
