LUCA DALATRI – RHP – R-R WALL, NJ – FRESHMAN
6’6 – 240 LBS. – NORTH CAROLINA
Luca Dalatri is coming off an outstanding freshman season for the University of North Carolina which led him to a spot on the
Freshman All-America Team. Luca was a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of New Jersey recording a 30-0 record
during three seasons of varsity play. His high school won the New Jersey state championship in 2016.
JACOB “JACK” DEGROAT – RHP – R-R PURCELLVILLE, VA – SOPHOMORE
6’3 – 195 LBS. – LIBERTY
Jack DeGroat joins Liberty University teammate, D.J. Artis as part of this year’s Chatham Anglers. He averaged more than 13 strike-
outs per nine innings for Liberty. As a freshman in 2016, Jack won four games to go along with 65 strike-outs. Jack had an excellent
prep career where he was named Virginia 3A State Player of the Year as senior.
CALEB GILBERT – RHP – R-R HOOVER, AL – SOPHOMORE
6’2 – 185 LBS. – LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY
Caleb Gilbert joins the 2017 Anglers team for his second summer after completing his sophomore season for the LSU Tigers. In
the summer of 2016, Caleb had a 2-2 record for the Anglers. He was rated by D-1 Baseball.com as the 88th best freshman in the
country prior to the 2016 season. As a prep player, Caleb was named to Perfect Game’s High School All-America team (2015). He
has averaged over a strikeout per inning in his college career.
DAN HAMMER – RHP – R-R PHILADELPHIA, PA – FRESHMAN
6’2 – 175 LBS. – PITTSBURGH
Dan Hammer will be joining the 2017 Chatham Anglers pitching staff following in the line of University Pittsburgh pitchers Isaac
Mattson and T.J. Zeuch. Dan recently completed his freshman season at Pitt.
REISS KNEHR – RHP – L-R GLEN HEAD, NY – SOPHOMORE
6’3 – 220 LBS. – FORDHAM
Reiss Knehr joins the Chatham Anglers for the 2017 summer season after completing his sophomore season at Fordham University.
He has averaged over a strikeout per inning over the course of his first two college seasons. He is also used as a two-way player
by Fordham.
MASON KOPPENS– OF – R-R METAIRIE, LA – R-JUNIOR
5’10 - 175 LBS. – NORTHEASTERN
Mason Koppens joins the Chatham Anglers for the 2017 summer season after making a brief appearance for the Anglers late in
the summer 2016. He recently completed his red-shirt junior season for Northeastern University, where he raised his average by
over 50 points, while also demonstrating improvements in runs, hits and extra base hits.
SHEA LANGELIERS– C – R-R KELLER, TX – FRESHMAN
6’0- 190 LBS. – BAYLOR
Shea Langeliers recently completed his freshman season as the starting catcher for Baylor University. He brings strong offensive
and defensive skills to the Anglers. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 34th round of Major League Baseball’s First
Year Player in 2016.
