NELSON RIVERA - C/1B, SOUTH FLORIDA
FRESHMAN, 6-FOOT-3, 193 LBS.
Spencer is in his first season with the Sycamores and has pitched just over 23 innings during 11 appearances. He has registered
an ERA of 6.94, giving up 30 hits and 23 runs while striking out 17 batters. Spencer was a dual-sport athlete at Centreville (Mich.)
High School, competing in both baseball and football.
CARSON WHISENHUNT - P/1B, EAST CAROLINA
SENIOR, 6-FOOT-3, 209 LBS.
Whisenhunt entered this spring considered one of the top players in the American Athletic Conference — and the entire
country — by many, being named a Preseason First-Team All-American selection by Baseball America, among other outlets,
and the AAC Preseason Pitcher of the Year. He notched a 3.77 ERA last season, going 6-2 in 13 appearances, and struck out 79
hitters in 62 innings of work.
RICKY WILLIAMS - RHP, CLEMSON
JUNIOR, 6-FOOT-2, 200 LBS.
Williams has impressed in seven appearances this season, recording a 1.59 ERA and a 2-0 record. Last season, Williams was
used primarily as a long reliever out of the bullpen and recorded eight strikeouts over seven innings pitched. In two games this
season Williams has pitched for at least five innings, including a start against Presbyterian on April 26 when he gave up two
runs through 6.2 innings pitched.
