MICHAEL GEYLIN GENERAL MANAGER
Michael Geylin joined our Board in 2013, became the assistant general manager later that year and assumed the general manager role in the fall of 2014.
Mike oversees baseball operations for the Anglers, working closely with Manager Tom Holliday and the coaching and athletic training staff. Mike is also
an executive committee member of the Cape Cod Baseball League Board of Directors.
STEWART HESCH ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Stewart (Stewman) Hesch joined the CAA Board in 2016, becoming the assistant general manager shortly thereafter. He works closely with Mike Geylin,
with his major task being to manage the team’s equipment & uniform needs. Stewman is also integrally involved in merchandising and in maintaining
multiple Angler facilities.
DAN D’UVA MEDIA COORDINATOR
an D’Uva and former broadcast partner Guy Benson created the Chatham Anglers’ internet broadcast in 2001. Dan improved our broadcasts throughout
his college years at Syracuse and Fordham, where he graduated with a broadcast journalism degree. Dan’s professional broadcast career began as lead
broadcaster for the Trenton Devils (minor league NHL New Jersey Devils affiliate) team and Dan is now the radio broadcast voice of the Las Vegas Golden
Knights NHL team. We are fortunate that Dan continues to select and oversee the Angler broadcast and media interns, while also managing all the
Angler social media sites.
BOB SHERMAN MEDIA CONSULTANT & TEAM HISTORIAN
Bob Sherman, CAA vice president, and almost thirty-year CAA Board member, helps Dan with the media team operations and is also integrally involved
with researching historical Angler and League statistical data. Bob is a Norwell, MA native and retired Plymouth public-school administrator. Bob and
his wife Martha have been helping our Organization in numerous capacities for over 30 years. Bob also serves as an Executive Committee member on
the Cape Cod Baseball League Board of Directors.
PETER BURNS PUBLIC ADDRESS VOICE OF THE ANGLERS
We are very glad that Peter Burns is returning for another season as “the voice of the Anglers” public address announcer. Peter, a CT native, who began
attending Chatham Cape League games in the late 1970’s. Peter is a political science professor at Soka University of America in Aliso Viejo, CA and prior
to that he was a political science professor at Loyola University in New Orleans. In 2012, Princeton Review named Burns one of the top 300 professors
in the country.
