2024 PLAYERS CHATHAM ANGLERS
JETT JOHNSTON - OF/RHP, TEXAS A&M
FRESHMAN, 6-FOOT-1, 210 LBS.
Jett has seen time as a two-way player during his Aggie freshman season, being used both out of the bullpen and in the outfield,
where he’s accumulated a .400 on-base percentage through April. The former Tennessee high school star was the No. 6 rated
prospect in the state of Tennessee’s 2023 class, per Perfect Game, leading his team to state titles in each of his last two seasons.
NELSON KELJO - LHP, OREGON STATE
SOPHOMORE, 6-FOOT-4, 226 LBS.
Nelson has been an integral part of the OSU bullpen rotation over the last two years, appearing in 21 games during his freshman
2023 season, and appearing in 15 games through early May of his 2024 sophomore season. In 2024 Keljo has a 2-0 won/loss
record in 30 innings of work. Over those 30 innings Nelson has recorded 45 strikeouts, an impressive 1.5 strikeout per inning
ratio while only walking 12 batters.
TYLER KOZERA - RHP, UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA
FRESHMAN, 6-FOOT-3, 215 LBS
In 2024 Kozera made his debut on April coming out of the pen and ending the season with 7 games pitched with a 1.50 ERA. He
made his first collegiate start against number 8 ranked Florida State University during the Tallahassee Region Championship
and shut them out through 3.1 innings.
GRANT KNIPP - C/RHP, CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY
REDSHIRT JUNIOR, 6-FOOT-2, 230 LBS.
Grant is in his third year with the Camels, returning in 2024 after being named the first team Big South Conference catcher in
2023. Grant has continued tearing up the conference in 2024, hitting .402 with 18 home runs in games through April. On the
mound he’s been equally effective, in limited work through 4 outings and 5.2 IP he’s compiled a 1.59 ERA.
NATHAN KNOWLES - RHP, WILLIAM & MARY
JUNIOR, 6-FOOT-0, 185 LBS.
Nathan has served as the Friday night starter for the Tribe all season. Through May 1st Nathan has a 6-2 won/loss record, with
16 starts, and an impressive 1.91 ERA. The righty finished his 2023 sophomore year as an All-CAA Honorable Mention pitcher
with a 3.43 ERA in 20 appearances, including 17 starts. The Arlington, VA native has held opponents to a below .200 average at
the plate and has struck out more than a batter an inning.
ASHTON LARSON – OF, LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY
FRESHMAN, 6-FOOT-2, 194 LBS.
Ashton has muscled his way into the Tigers starting outfield, not surprising given he’s batting over .350 and has yet to make
an error heading into May. Prior to starting his college career, Larson was the number one rated high school player in Kansas,
and the 78th ranked player in the nation according to Perfect Game.
