CHATHAM ANGLERS PLAYERS 2024





                             SAM ANTONACCI | SS | COASTAL CAROLINA 
                             JUNIOR | 6-FOOT-0 | 195 LBS

                             Sam has found immense success everywhere he has played at the collegiate level. As of May 1, he sported a .381 average with
                             3 home runs and 34 RBI for the Chanticleers, walking 41 times with only 28 strikeouts. In 2023, the Springfield, Illinois native
                             was named the NJCAA DII National Player of the Year at Heartland C.C. after notching a .515 average with 14 home runs and
                             103 RBI. He guided Heartland to a 57-5 record and the program’s first national championship.



                             JAMIE ARNOLD | LHP | FLORIDA STATE 
                             SOPHOMORE | 6-FOOT-1 | 190 LBS

                             Jamie burst back onto the scene in Tallahassee this season. After being named a 2023 Cape Cod All-Star with the Hyannis Harbor
                             Hawks, the southpaw twirled 65.1 innings with a 1.79 ERA as of May 1. As FSU’s Friday starter, he struck out 99 hitters and walked
                             just 16. The Tampa, Florida native pitched 24.1 innings before allowing his first earned run. Arnold’s all-star Cape summer saw
                             him post a 2.94 ERA in 18.1 innings with the Harbor Hawks.



                             AIVA ARQUETTE | INF | WASHINGTON
                             SOPHOMORE | 6-FOOT-4 | 220 LBS

                             Aiva has been a powerful bat in the Washington lineup for two seasons. As of May 1, the Huskies’ starting shortstop notched a
                             .353 average with 11 home runs and 31 RBI. In 2023, the Kailua, Hawai’i native left the yard on 5 of his 11 hits as a true freshman.
                             The former 2nd-ranked prospect in Hawai’i was selected in the 18th round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks
                             but opted to take his talents to Seattle instead.



                             JOHN BAY | OF | AUSTIN PEAY
                             REDSHIRT JUNIOR | 6-FOOT-1 | 215 LBS

                             John is coming off a big breakout season for the Governors. As of May 1, the Oklahoma State transfer launched 21 home runs,
                             posting a .391 average and 59 RBI. The Shattuck, Oklahoma native had 3 multi-home run games and a stretch in early March
                             where he homered in 4 consecutive games. Bay’s power stroke started in 2023 when 8 of his 20 hits left the yard at Austin Peay.
                             Before transferring, he batted .324 across 26 games with the Cowboys in 2022.



                             EVAN CHREST | RHP | JACKSONVILLE
                             SOPHOMORE | 6-FOOT-0 | 180 LBS

                             Evan has proven to be a quality arm in the Jacksonville rotation for 2 years. As of May 1, the righty has hurled 48 innings this
                             spring.  As a freshman in 2023, the Dolphins’ Friday starter was named a Second-Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball. He
                             hurled 90.2 innings with a 2.68 ERA en route to earning the ASUN Freshman of the Year award. The Tampa, Florida native was
                             drafted in the 17th round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Miami Marlins.



                             DENNIS COLLERAN | RHP | NORTHEASTERN
                             JUNIOR | 6-FOOT-3 | 225 LBS

                             Dennis is a powerful right-handed arm returning for his second summer on the Cape. Armed with a blazing fastball, as of May
                             1st the North Attleboro, Massachusetts native has thrown 29 innings at Northeastern this spring.  Last summer, the righty put
                             up a 4.85 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 13 innings for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Colleran did not pitch during the 2023 college
                             season as he worked back from Tommy John surgery.
