2024 PLAYERS CHATHAM ANGLERS





                             CHANCE COX | LHP | AUSTIN PEAY
                             JUNIOR | 6-FOOT-2 | 205 LBS

                             Chance joins the Anglers roster after spending the previous two seasons at Cowley JC where he compiled a 15-1 record with a
                             sub 3.00 ERA.  Cox was primarily a starting pitcher at Cowley JC, and his efforts helped lead Cowley JC to the NJCAA world series
                             in 2023.  After his junior college stint Cox spent the 2023 fall semester at the University of Houston before transferring to Austin
                             Peay for the spring semester.


                             TY DALLEY | UTL | MERCER

                             SOPHOMORE | 6-FOOT-4 | 215 LBS
                             Ty has been a powerful contributor to the Mercer offense in his first two seasons. As of May 1, the first baseman and outfielder
                             had launched 12 home runs in 42 games. Against Seton Hall in late March, the left-handed slugger homered 5 times in 2 games,
                             totaling 10 RBI. In his freshman 2023 campaign, the Vidalia, Georgia native tallied a .266 average and saw 17 of his 46 hits leave
                             the yard. This success garnered him a spot on the 2023 Southern Conference All-Freshman Team.



                             JAYDEN DAVIS | INF | VANDERBILT

                             SOPHOMORE | 5-FOOT-10 | 205 LBS

                             Jayden has quickly solidified himself in Vanderbilt’s infield after transferring from Samford heading into the 2024 season. As
                             of May 1, the sophomore Is hitting .319, slugging .444, with an on-base percentage of .393. Davis was named as SEC Co-Player
                             of the Week in the first week of April, when he batted .583. The Cookeville, Tennessee, native spent his freshman season at
                             Samford, where he was named to the All-Southern Conference First Team.




                             LUKE DOTSON | LHP | MISSISSIPPI STATE
                             FRESHMAN | 6-FOOT-4 | 210 LBS
                             Luke, in his first collegiate season, has made 9 relief appearances for Mississippi State as of May 1. He’s totaled 10.2 innings
                             pitched and in five of his nine outings, Dotson allowed zero runs. Hailing from Marietta, Georgia, Dotson committed to the
                             Bulldogs after being ranked as the No. 1 left-handed pitcher in the state of Georgia, according to Perfect Game. Luke attended
                             Mount Paran Christian High School in Kennesaw, Georgia, where he won the 2023 Division 2A Player of the Year. 



                             PHIL FOX | RHP | PITTSBURGH

                             REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE | 5-FOOT-10 | 170 LBS
                             Phil has shined through his debut season at Pittsburgh. In 14 appearances with the Panthers, Fox registered a 0.86 ERA on 21
                             innings of relief, striking out 28 batters, and holding opponents to a .215 batting average. Fox spent the previous two seasons at
                             Gardner-Webb before transferring to Pitt this year. At Gardner-Webb, Fox underwent Tommy John surgery in 2022, but battled
                             back to make the Big South All-Freshman Team in 2023. 



                             TANNER FRANKLIN | RHP | KENNESAW STATE
                             SOPHOMORE | 6-FOOT-5 | 240 LBS

                             Tanner has been a staple out of the bullpen for Kennesaw State this season, tallying 19 appearances and five saves as of May 1.
                             His innings pitched have more than doubled since his freshman year, where he made 13 appearances and two starts. Franklin
                             was a top-100 overall prospect in the state of Tennessee’s class of 2022. At Jefferson County High School, the lengthy right-
                             handed pitcher was named to the All-State, All-Region and All-District Team as a senior. He also earned an All-District MVP
                             Pitcher honor that season.
