CAMPBELL SMITHWICK, C/OF, OLE MISS

FRESHMAN, 6-FOOT, 195 LBS
Campbell has made an immediate impact with Ole Miss as a freshman, appearing in 24 games with 19 starts. The freshman’s
breakout performance came on April 13 where he finished with a career-high three hits as Ole Miss defeated its rival Mississippi
State 10-9 in 11 innings. Through early May Smithwick is batting .254 and has eight RBIs. Playing for Oxford High School, the
outfielder was named Mississippi 6A player of the year, batting .463 and leading it to back-to-back District championships as
a junior and senior.

MALACHI WITHERSPOON, RHP, OKLAHOMA
SOPHOMORE, 6-FOOT-2, 211 LBS

Malachi has proven to be a strong closer for Oklahoma this season while playing alongside his twin brother Kyson. He previously
spent time at Northwest Florida JC, transferring to the Sooners after 13 appearances. Since arriving in Norman, Witherspoon
has proven to be a big part of Oklahoma’s bullpen. As of May 1, the righty has pitched 18.1 innings in 16 games while recording
a team-high three saves. Witherspoon was selected in the 12th round of the 2022 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

KYSON WITHERSPOON, RHP, OKLAHOMA

SOPHOMORE, 6-FOOT, 205 LBS

Kyson played his freshman season at Northwest Florida JC alongside his twin brother Malachi before transferring to Oklahoma.
Unlike his brother, Witherspoon has mostly been utilized as a starter for the Sooners. As of May 1, the right holds a 5-3 record in
13 appearances and seven starts. Witherspoon holds a 4.19 ERA in 58 innings of work, the second most innings of any Oklahoma
pitcher. He’s also second on the team in strikeouts with 66 and holds his opponents to a .246 batting average.
