spring, with the majority coming out of the bullpen. Scott struck out one batter per inning of work. At the time of print Christian
                              had a 5-3 record.
AUSTIN VERNON - NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL
                            (RHP) B-T – R-R / 6’7 – 295 LBS.
Austin Vernon comes to the Anglers as the very first player from North Carolina Central. He is a huge presence on the mound
who was used as both a starter and reliever in college. Vernon put up more than a strikeout per inning for NC Central this spring,
reaching the 50 K mark for the first time in his collegiate career. He also more than doubled his innings as a sophomore, while
holding opposing hitters to around a .230 average in 2019. Austin was a two-time All-Greater Neuse River Conference honoree
                              in high school.

innings for the Mavs this spring. He was recruited as a two-way player and stepped in as the Friday starter in his first year. At the
time of print Cade had a 5-1 record and looks to build on that record this summer. The right-hander was a first-team all-district
choice from VR Eaton High School in Haslet, Texas.
                            JEREMY WU-YELLAND - HAWAII
                            (LHP), B-T – L-L / 6’2 – 210 LBS.
Jeremy Wu-Yelland struck out more than 40 batters in 44-plus innings of work for Hawaii this spring, a year after he made just
16 appearances for the Warriors in 2018. Jeremy was another pitcher on the Anglers’ 2019 pitching staff who has started and
relieved during his college career. The Washington native competed in the Area Code Baseball games for the Royals in 2016
